Dear valued stakeholders,
As healthcare providers around the world fight the outbreak of COVID-19, we at Radiometer are doing everything we can to ensure that they get timely and appropriate support.
We are inspired by the courage of our customers and the determination of our employees as they support customers in putting life first, no matter what comes next during these unprecedented times.
As the situation continues to evolve, I want to share with you some of the steps we are taking to address the pandemic:
- Supporting healthcare providers working in the Intensive Care, Emergency Departments and Neonatal Intensive Care units across the world by maintaining critical deliveries so they can continue to deliver high-value care to their patients
- Safeguarding the health and safety of our employees – especially those who are working in the field to support customers in hospitals and clinics, and those working at our manufacturing facilities
Supporting healthcare providers globally
We remain committed to making public health a top priority. The tremendous response and dedication displayed by healthcare professionals across the globe moves us to take further steps.
We have activated business continuity plans and are monitoring them on a daily basis to make sure that our suppliers prioritise key deliveries, we maintain production capacity, and transportation of our products and raw materials is secured in spite of border closures.
Further, we are doing everything in our power to prevent infection at customer sites by changing our work patterns e.g. conducting only critical service visits and working through remote connections to our customers’ systems when possible.
Safeguarding the health and safety of our employees
All our employees are doing their part in the fight against the pandemic.
Our colleagues in the field are treading on unchartered territory as they perform customer and service visits at hospitals across the globe.
Our colleagues in manufacturing go to work every day in spite of lockdowns, with a strong focus on taking all necessary precautions to avoid risk of contamination.
Our colleagues who can work from home, do so dutifully, in order to make sure they do not infect their colleagues in manufacturing.
We want to extend our gratitude to healthcare providers globally. We are humbled to support you behind the lines during this rapidly evolving situation, and we will continue to find the necessary solutions – together.
Sincerely,
Henrik Schimmell
President
